Special online gathering on 26 September builds on the school’s ongoing free Swedish Language Cafe. Sweden, 28th Sep 2026 – ONLINE SWEDISH marks the European Day of Languages with a special online Swedish Language Cafe every year on 26 September. This year, 2026, the online event is at 19:00 Swedish time (CEST). The free event welcomes participants worldwide, from complete beginners to experienced Swedish speakers. The gathering forms part of ONLINE SWEDISH’s regular language cafe programme, where participation is always free. This special session will bring learners together to practise Swedish, explore Swedish culture and traditions, and share their interest in languages. ONLINE SWEDISH is the largest online community for Swedish learners. Its activities connect people learning Swedish for everyday life, education, professional opportunities and personal interest. Alongside its free conversation programme, ONLINE SWEDISH offers structured language courses from beginner to advanced levels. The school also brings together a large healthcare community, supporting medical professionals who are developing their Swedish and preparing for professional life in Sweden. Its C1 certificate is recognised by Socialstyrelsen, Sweden’s National Board of Health and Welfare, as evidence of Swedish language proficiency.
